HVAC Help is a free AI-powered triage and diagnostic platform. We provide:

• Free AI Triage: Our chatbot helps you identify potential HVAC issues through conversation
• Safe DIY Guidance: We suggest safe troubleshooting steps you can try yourself
• Contractor Connection: When requested by you, we facilitate connections to certified HVAC contractors in your area

Important: HVAC Help does NOT charge users for our triage, diagnostic, or connection services. Our platform is completely free for homeowners.

2. No Payment from Users

We do not accept or request payment from users with HVAC issues. Our services are provided at no cost to you, including:

• AI-powered triage and diagnostics
• DIY troubleshooting guidance
• Connection to certified contractors
• Access to our platform and chatbot

If you choose to hire a contractor we connect you with, any payment arrangements are directly between you and that contractor. HVAC Help is not involved in those transactions.

3. AI Triage Limitations

Our AI triage tool is designed to help identify potential issues in a safe manner. However:

• Our diagnostics are estimates only and not professional assessments
• We cannot guarantee accuracy or completeness of diagnoses
• AI suggestions are for informational purposes and should not replace professional inspection
• DIY steps are provided only when safe; we always recommend professional help for complex or dangerous issues
• Emergency situations (gas leaks, electrical hazards, carbon monoxide) require immediate professional assistance

4. Contractor Connections

When you request to be connected with a contractor:

• We facilitate introductions to certified HVAC contractors in our network
• Contractors are independent businesses - we do not employ them
• You are under no obligation to hire any contractor we connect you with
• All work agreements, pricing, and payments are directly between you and the contractor
• We are not responsible for the quality of work, pricing, or conduct of contractors

5. User Responsibilities

When using HVAC Help, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your HVAC issue
• Follow safety warnings and emergency instructions immediately
• Not attempt repairs beyond safe DIY troubleshooting steps
• Verify contractor credentials before hiring
• Use the service at your own risk

6. No Warranty

HVAC Help is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• Our AI diagnostics will be accurate or complete
• DIY steps will solve your problem
• Connected contractors will meet your expectations
• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HVAC Help and its operators are not liable for:

• Property damage resulting from DIY troubleshooting
• Injuries sustained while following our guidance
• Contractor work quality, pricing, or conduct
• Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• Delays in emergency situations

For emergencies (gas leaks, electrical hazards, fire risk), immediately contact emergency services (911) or your utility company.

8. Data Collection

When you use our triage tool, we collect information you provide (name, phone, email, zip code, issue description) to:

• Provide AI diagnostic assistance
• Connect you with local contractors when requested
• Improve our service
